A Splash of Cheers and Laughter for the LGC Chairman's Birthday

"'Some men say things as they are and ask why. Others dream things that never were and ask why not', as far as I know, ikaw Bert yung person who always says 'why not?', na parang walang imposible para sa'yo." says Ernie Santiago, SEIPI President, in his video greeting during the birthday of the Lina Group of Companies Chairman Alberto D. Lina last April 23, 2010 held at the Sylvia P. Lina Theater, De La Salle Zobel School Alabang.
 


Cocktails were shared prior to the presentation. Bert's son-in-law Kenneth Flavier prepared the cocktails buffet together with Chef Vicky Villanueva who whipped up desserts.
 


It was a full blast of friends and family members during the event. The VIPs include former president Fidel V. Ramos, basketball legend Robert Jaworski, Sr., business tycoon Manny Pangilinan, and a lot more. LGC Presidents were also present during the celebration.
 


Sisters Sheila and Bertha Lina hosted the pre-program show. Bert's father-in-law, Mr. Richard Pacheco, lead the opening prayer. The entire Lina Family gathered on stage for the blowing of the birthday cake.
 

For the main course of the event, the organizers brought the Jon Santos Show "For Voter Or For Worse". Full of political satires, Jon Santos humorously presented the current political and entertainment scenario. Among his famous impersonations in the show include Kuring, Gluring, Ex-President Sherap, and Mommy Dyuning.
