LGC holds 10th annual blood drive

The Lina Group of Companies (LGC) holds the 10th annual blood drive in partnership with the Department of Health Philippine Blood Center on 09 December 2010 at the Cargohaus Executive Parking Lot in Parañaque City.
 
This year’s theme is “You Are the Blood of My Life” that perfectly mirrors the Kabalikat partnership bet . ween LGC and DOH Philippine Blood Center. This program guarantees support in case an LGC employee or his relatives are in need of blood. The support is free of charge.

Phlebotomists and doctors attended to 127 LGC blood donors who once again lived up to the pledge of sustaining lives of fellow human beings. Among the blood beneficiaries are leukemia patients, hemophilia patients, transplant patients, and major trauma patients. A  total of 12150 CC of blood were gathered from LGC. The annual blood letting program is spearheaded by the LGC Medical Team with Mrs. Sylvia P. Lina as Chairman. The Air21 Express Team was also present to support this single day event.
